1. Fan Filter Unit (FFU)
A Fan Filter Unit is a self-contained air filtration system with a built-in fan with filter. It draws in air, filters it, and pushes clean air into the cleanroom. FFUs are modular and often installed in ceilings to create a grid of filtered airflow.

2. HEPA & ULPA Filters
These are the heart of cleanroom air purification.
HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air): Captures 99.97% of particles 0.3m
ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air): Captures 99.9995% of particles 0.12m
Applications: Semiconductor, pharma, biotech, aerospace
Key difference: ULPA filters offer higher filtration but with more airflow resistance4
3. Air Shower
An air shower is a decontamination chamber that blasts high-velocity HEPA-filtered air to remove particles from personnel or equipment before entering the cleanroom.

Construction: SS304/316 with interlocking doors
Purpose: Prevents contaminants from entering controlled zones6
4. Laminar Airflow Unit
These units provide a unidirectional flow of clean air either horizontal or vertical across the work surface.
Use: Sterility testing, tissue culture, microelectronics

5. Dispensing Booth (Sampling/Weighing Booth)
Also known as reverse laminar flow booths, these are used for safe handling of powders and chemicals.
Airflow: Downward laminar flow with recirculation
Filtration: 3-stage (Pre, Intermediate, HEPA)
Purpose: Protects operator, product, and environment during weighing or sampling10
6. Pass Box (Static & Dynamic)
Used to transfer materials between rooms without compromising cleanliness.
Static Pass Box: No airflow; used between two clean zones
Dynamic Pass Box: Has HEPA-filtered airflow; used between clean and non-clean areas

7. SS Fabricated Equipment
These include garment cabinets, trolleys, sinks, lockers, benches, and more all made from stainless steel (SS304/316) to ensure corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.
